Since 2010, Highlands has focused on affordable homes for first-time buyers to improve the quality of life for children and residents of rural areas. We have been building in the Central Valley for 30 years, initially as a semi-custom home builder. Fueled by the belief that everybody deserves a dignified place to live, Highlands pivoted to developing starter homes.

Our team works with a range of financing agencies to accommodate most families, couples, or individuals who desire to buy a home. Homebuying is not an easy process, but we are side-by-side with the homebuyer through every step. Our team has the expertise to navigate and explain the process to ensure high standards and success.
The biggest joy for our team — and our motivating factor to do what we do — are the smiles we receive when we hand over the keys to a family’s new home.
